Voucher applications in by February 28, 2007 have a better chance for review and lottery. However, you may apply for 2007-2008 vouchers up to July 31, 2007.
Applications for CSTP (educational vouchers) are available only for residents of the City of Cleveland whose children are attending or planning to attend schools participating in the program. To get an application:

Important Notes:
1. The Office of Catholic Education does not run this program, it is run by the State of Ohio. However, all elementary Catholic schools in the City of Cleveland participate in the program.
2. You may only apply to the program if your child will be entering grades K-8. If your child had a voucher as an 8th grade student, he/she can take it to a participating Cleveland Catholic High School. If your child did not have a voucher as an 8th grade student, they cannot apply for the voucher program as a new 9th or 10th grade student.
CSTP provides educational options for children residing in the Cleveland Municipal Schools District. Applications from low-income families are given priority, and information is verified regularly for proof of residence and income. Scholarships to parents of scholarship recipients will be based on the tuition of the participating school. Depending upon the gross family income, not exceeding $3,450, the State will pay either 75% or 90% of the school's tuition. High school vouchers will be a maximum of 75% to 90% of $3450 as well. Parents are responsible for the rest of the tuition and any school fees. |
