Request for Presenter Proposals
Due March 30, 2008
Thursday, June 12th (afternoon) and Friday, June, 13th (Morning and Afternoon). Topics to be addressed:
  • Classroom Management
  • Methods for Underachievers
  • Culturally Responsive Teaching
  • Mental Health for Urban Students
  • Methods in the Content Areas
  • Differentiated Instruction

As a presenter, I agree to the following:

  • I will submit electronic copies of presentation materials and handouts by May 1, 2008 to be posted on the Office of Catholic Education website.
  • I will present at a minimum of two sessions
  • I will provide my own presenter laptop.
  • I will be paid a stipend for my presentation

Conference Goals
To address the specific educational needs of the urban child who is taught in a Catholic school setting

Offer strategies and methods to address multicultural issues, learning styles and achievement challenges in the learning environment
