The mission of the Office of Catechetical Services is to provide leadership, direction, and resources for parishes, Catholic schools and Newman Catholic Campus Ministry in the shaping of a unified vision of Catholic identity consistent with the catechetical documents of the Roman Catholic Church.
The Catechetical Consultants provide general consulting services to parishes and Catholic schools on program design for total parish catechesis, text and material selection, parish catechetical leader courses, catechetical methods, volunteer management and recruitment, curriculum, training, and certification needs for principals, catechists and teachers |

North American Forum Local Scholarships |

This coming November 6th, 7th and 8th, the NA Forum on the Catechumenate will hold it’s International Convocation in Cleveland at the Renaissance Hotel. The Office of Catechetical Services and the Forum are collaborating to offer local scholarships to help defray registration costs and encourage diocesan participation in this event. To apply for a local scholarship, please download the form below, complete it and return it to the Office of Catechetical Services by Monday, September 29th.

Applicants should register for the Convocation (early-bird registration deadline is September 30th) before or in conjuction with scholarship application. You will not be required to send money at that time. To register for the convocation please go to the Forum's web site (http://www.naforum.org). |

Year of St. Paul Resources |

On June 28, 2007, the Holy Father dedicated the year to St. Paul. The Pauline Year began on June 28, 2008 and will end on June 29, 2009. In honor of this special year, we have set up a special Links page dedicated to Resources for the Pauline Year.
